It's time to stop associating vegan food with boring food because that just simply is not the case! There is so much opportunity to have plant based food be good for you, exciting, and most importantly flavourful!
Gone are the days of boring vegetables, steamed broccoli, and underwhelming salads being what we think of when we think of vegan food.
The key to flavourful food
Herbs, spices, nuts, and seeds are the key to every delicious dish, and they are all vegan! Rosemary garlic mashed potatoes, a tangy dijon maple vinaigrette, and sourdough bread are all vegan. The majority of your favourite baked goods can be made vegan as well, and with a growing amount of "meal alternatives" on the market it's easier than ever to create vegan dishes everyone will love!
Eating a vegan diet (or just a vegan meal) doesn't mean forcing yourself to choke down plain oatmeal, lack lustre salads or anything of the sort. It means looking forward to peanut butter overnight oats, having a delicious loaded Caesar salad with garlic bread for lunch, and a roasted veggie and lentil macro bowl with tahini sauce for dinner.
